Unruly fans hurl water bottles at cheerleaders, run them off

Some unruly fans hurled water bottles and pouches at the cheerleaders, forcing the girls to run for cover, soon after CSK skipper MS Dhoni hit the winning runs against Rajasthan Royals here on Tuesday. The cheer girls assigned near the gallery, who were preparing to celebrate Dhoni’s winning runs, ran to safety after the missiles were thrown. It was the first such incident at the JSCA Stadium since it hosted the first ODI between India and England in 2012 and several T20 matches.
