Day three of the first Test between Australia and India at Adelaide saw some fascinating cricket played as India ended on 369/5 in reply to Australia’s 517. The star of the day was India’s skipper Virat Kohli who hit a fantastic century, he was ably supported by Murali Vijay, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane who all hit fifties. Getty[/caption] But there was a poignant moment just before lunch when Kohli was hit on the helmet the first ball he faced by a Mitchell Johnson fiery bouncer. He looked to duck but misjudged it, was late in getting down and was hit flush on the badge of the helmet. The entire Australian team rushed towards him to check whether he was OK, Australian skipper Michael Clarke was the first one to check his status. Johnson looked worried and he straightaway walked up to Kohli to see if he was fine. The pacer looked really worried as he walked back towards his marker and Clarke rushed towards Johnson and patted him on his back for support. On another day, the Australians would have sledged Kohli but after the Hughes incident, it seems as if things have changed!
