The second Test of the five-match series between England and India will be played at Lord’s from today. Among all home grounds, England have a better winning record only at Edgbaston and The Oval. Since 2006 England have lost only one Test out of 17 they have played here. Their only defeat here in last eight years came in 2012 when South Africa beat them by 51 runs. India, on the other hand, have a rather forgettable record at Lord’s. One more stumping and Dhoni will equal Syed Kirmani’s Indian record of effecting most (38) stumpings in Test cricket. Matt Prior needs 3 dismissals to complete 50 dismissals at Lord’s. He will become first keeper to do so.
