The Friday night WNBA game between the Chicago Sky and Golden State Valkyries saw an objectionable object being thrown onto the basketball court. The game was stopped momentarily so that the referee could remove the sex toy that someone in attendance at the Wintrust Arena chucked on the court during the game.
A clip from the game, depicting the episode, is making rounds on the internet. The video shows a green item lying on the court during the game. When the referee went to check it, the thing turned out to be a sex toy, particularly a dildo. Someone from the staff picked the item and wrapped it in a cloth, and the match resumed afterwards.
