Social Media goes berserk over #MiracleBoyYuvi's World T20 final performance

April 6, 2014, Sunday, was just one of those horror days that Yuvraj Singh would like to forget. Just as India lost to Sri Lanka in the World T20 final, social media went berserk criticising Yuvraj Singh for the loss. [caption id=“attachment_1469081” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![Nuwan Kulasekara of Sri Lanka celebrates after dismissing Yuvraj Singh (R) of India during the Final of the ICC World Twenty20 Bangladesh 2014 between India and Sri Lanka. During his stay, he struggled to connect the ball and didn’t rotate the strike which sucked all the momentum from the innings. Virat Kohli, who was going great guns at the other end, was bereft of strike and India ended up with just 130 on the board. Just as Yuvraj struggled to get going, the jokes started making waves on Twitter. https://twitter.com/fwildecricket/statuses/452820931308945408 https://twitter.com/Shrirang_4u/status/453050746317987842 https://twitter.com/Emclub7/statuses/452831346222964736 https://twitter.com/GabbbarSingh/status/452827927084675074 Finally after a 21-ball struggle, Yuvraj was finally Dismissed, caught in the deep by Thisara Perera - https://twitter.com/MrMrRajneesh/status/452821972678750208 Sri Lanka won the match comfortably and Twitter went berserk criticising Yuvraj for the loss. https://twitter.com/robelinda2/status/452929701057544192 https://twitter.com/TheBigDowg/status/452834210512769024 https://twitter.com/CricketGandu/status/452845778222854144 https://twitter.com/greatbong/status/452845376010477568 And there was this picture that has been going viral as well [caption id=“attachment_1468919” align=“alignleft” width=“268”] ![The made up picture of Yuvraj Singh doing rounds on social media.](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/IMG-20140406-WA00021.jpg) The made up picture of Yuvraj Singh doing rounds on social media.[/caption] There was this #MiracleBoyYuvi which started trending, it included sarcastic as well as tweets in support of Yuvraj. https://twitter.com/canikhilesh/status/452847161625964544 https://twitter.com/Mesubhajit/status/452841678294892544 https://twitter.com/nationalizer/status/452834792657006592 There were also some who supported Yuvraj - https://twitter.com/ganeshjothi/status/453056664552214529 https://twitter.com/Rapid_Rahul/status/453051080251682816 https://twitter.com/iCricketard/status/453037265078325248 Even old mate Harbhajan Singh came out all guns blazing defending Yuvraj on Twitter https://twitter.com/harbhajan_singh/status/452875865441853441 https://twitter.com/harbhajan_singh/status/452879284496252929 https://twitter.com/harbhajan_singh/status/452893886940078081 https://twitter.com/harbhajan_singh/status/452895614645194752 Soon after reports surfaced that Yuvraj Singh’s home in Chandigarh was pelted with stones.
