Sh*t just got real: Course in Norway starts hunt for man who poops in golf holes

The Stavanger Golf Club in Norway has finally appealed to the public to solve a mystery that has been haunting them for 10 years: who has been taking dumps in their holes? But none of this was able to stop the culprit from continuing this bizarre activity of defecating in golf holes. He seems to be a criminal mastermind, who climbs trees and dismantles spotlights before relieving himself. Security is “riddled” with his antics that have been going on for a decade. There are some bizarre details that are also part of the mystery. For one, a Metro report reads: “The first poops were noticed in 2005 and while they’ve continued, course officials say hygiene has improved with toilet paper also being left behind on most occasions.” Also, groundskeeper Kenneth Tennfjord believes that the serial dumper is likely male because the stools are “massive”. The person also favours particular holes and uses them to answer nature’s call late at night and “up to several times a week”. Add to this, Boing Boing quotes Tennfjord as saying, “The early years were relatively hard stools, but the consistency has changed.” Stavanger is an 18-hole course and has now reached out to the masses to eradicate this stink—because how is one supposed to putt in a hole that is already full?
