Yuvraj Singh who is undergoing treatment for rare germ cell cancer in the US is finally headed for his last stretch of chemotherapy. The national cricketer tweeted, “My last stretch. 4 more days to go. Can’t wait for it to end. On 8 March he tweeted, “Plyd tt tdy after ages Felt great but tired gt my scan loks really good doc wil giv final report tom”. He also regularly posts pictures of himself and cards and gifts he receives from well wishers. His Twitter handle in many ways reflects his personality, gritty, positive and unwilling to go down without a fight. On 5 March he changed his twitter handle to @yuvstrong, an obvious play on livestrong, the Lance Armstrong Foundation that seeks to unite, inspire and empower people affected by cancer. The 30-year-old left-hander has been in US since January this year. The cricketer has shaved off his hair for the treatment, which will go on till the last week of March. He is expected to be back on the field in the first week of May.
