Saina's exclusive Rs 40-crore deal with Rhiti falls through

It seems that reports of Saina Nehwal splitting from Rhiti Sports were true after all. The ace badminton player may not have completely cancelled her deal with the management firm which also represents India cricket captain MS Dhoni, but will now allow multiple companies to represent her. In a nutshell, Rhiti will not exclusively own her rights anymore. According to a report on Times of India, Saina has signed up with KWAN Entertainment and Marketing Solutions — with Rhiti also helping out whenever possible. According to sources, Artsmith-Concepts and Visions will also chip in. For example, a current situation may be that Saina gives a percentage of any deal which the companies mentioned above will get her. It is a much more flexible way of marketing herself to brands. Rhiti used to manager her endorsements and brand associations, corporate profile, patents and digital rights, images and all other commercial rights exclusively.
