Sachin Tendulkar will play his landmark 200th Test match at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, with Eden Gardens in Kolkata to host his 199th Test.

Tendulkar had earlier hinted that he wanted to play his farewell Test in front of his home crowd — with India welcoming West Indies for a two-test series in November.

The Mumbai Cricket Association president Ravi Savant had earlier said that the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) had agreed to allot Tendulkar's last Test to MCA.

The first Test takes place from 6-10 November and the second from 14-18 November.

Despite him playing some memorable innings in Mumbai, it's Chepauk in Chennai that has got him the most number of runs — 970 runs at an average of 88.18 with five hundreds and a highest of 165.
