Sachin Tendulkar takes blessings of childhood coach Ramakant Achrekar on Guru Purnima

Mumbai: Sachin Tendulkar on Friday took the blessings of his childhood coach Ramakant Achrekar on the occasion of Guru Purnima. AFP[/caption] The legendary batsman tweeted a picture where he bows down to his coach as a mark of unwavering respect. “Sought blessings of my Guru on this auspicious day - A happy #GuruPurnima to all,” he wrote on his Twitter feed having seven million plus followers. Tendulkar makes it a point to wish the 83-year-old on this auspicious day every year, even when he is travelling. The master blaster had personally invited Achrekar to watch his farewell Test, played at Wankhede Stadium in 2013.
