Premier League side Leicester sends back three players from Thailand after racist orgy

Three Leicester City players have been sent back to England after they were filmed in an orgy with Thai women during the club’s tour to the East Asian country. The players — James Pearson (son of manager Nigel Pearson), Tom Hopper and Adam Smith — are shown naked in footage obtained by the Sunday Mirror and have apologised for their behaviour. Getty[/caption] A statement from the clubs said that they “would like to convey their sincere apologies for their behaviour – to the women involved in the incident, to the club and its owners, to the club’s fans and to their families.” The men make offensive comments towards the women and one of the men in the video calls a Thai woman ‘slit eye’, reports The Guardian. Leicester City also released a statement after the incident: “We take the conduct of our players at every level extremely seriously and will take appropriate action, if necessary, once the full facts of the situation have been established. Pending the outcome of an internal investigation the club will make no further comment,” it said. Manager Nigel Pearson is a staunch campagainer against racism and is also a patron of the charity Show Racism the Red Card. The club are owned by Thai billionaires Vichai and Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.
