World Cup photos: Rooney finally scores but Suarez steals the show

Red-hot Suarez was the hero as he scored both the goals. It was Wayne Rooney who came close to giving England the lead in the 32nd minute but he headed it onto the crossbar off a wonderful cross from Steven Gerrard. He looked looked pretty sharp and showed some glimpses of brilliance giving England a lifeline by drawing them level.
