Rajkot: The Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) has said that people will have to provide an identity proof while purchasing tickets for India-South Africa One Day International to be held in Rajkot on 18 October. Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has given her confirmation to SCA that she will remain present for the post-match ceremony. When contacted, SCA media manager Himanshu Shah confirmed that it has been decided by police department that spectators should provide identity proof while purchasing tickets. One person can only buy two tickets, he said. However, Rajkot rural SP Gagandeep Gambhir could not be reached despite repeated attempts. Selling of tickets is expected to start from 12 October, a SCA official said. PTI
