The 2024 Paris Paralympics will get underway in Paris on 28 August, and will go on till 8 September. A total of 4,400 athletes from 168 National Paralympic Committees will take part across 22 sports. A total of 1,983 participants are women, who represent 45 per cent of the total number of competitors in Paris.
