Paris Paralympics 2024, India Schedule Day 6 (3 September): Full list of medal matches and events

Avani Lekhara will set her sights on a second gold medal at the 2024 Paris Paralympics when she competes in the women’s 50m rifle 3 positions SH1 qualification round. Mona Agarwal, another Indian athlete will also feature in the same event.

Avani had won gold in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 competition with a score of 249.7 points, but had failed to make the final of the mixed 10m air rifle prone SH1 competition. She finished in 11th place in that competition with 632.8 points, whereas her compatriot Sidhartha Babu finished 28th with a score of 628.3.

Mona, on the other hand, had won bronze in the women’s 10m air rifle standing SH1 category, the same event where Avani clinched gold.

In athletics, Deepthi Jeevanji will take part in the women’s 400m T20 final, whereas in men’s high jump T63 final, Mariyappan Thangavelu, Shailesh Kumar and Sharad Kumar will feature.
