Neeraj Chopra has clarified that he is not injured but decided to pull out of the Ostrava Golden Spike 2024 athletics meet as a precautionary measure after he “felt something” in his adductor. The reigning Olympics and world champion in men’s javelin event, Neeraj, was scheduled to take part in the Czech Republic event on 28 May but organisers informed on Sunday that the Indian athletics star has pulled out due to an adductor muscle injury he suffered to in training two weeks ago.
