Doha Diamond League 2025 Live Updates: Neeraj Chopra will begin his 2025 season on Friday, 16 May, by taking part in the Doha Diamond League. The event will be held at the Suheim bin Hamad Stadium in Doha. Neeraj won’t be the only Indian in the javelin throw event. Kishore Jena will also compete alongside the Olympic star.

A total of 11 athletes will take part in the javelin throw event. Neeraj will face some of the world’s best javelin throwers, including Anderson Peters, Jakub Vadlech, Julian Weber, Leshorn Walcott, Oliver Helander, Roderick Genki Dean, Max Dehning, and Ahmed Sameh Mohamed Hussein.

Meanwhile, fans who anticipated a clash between Neeraj Chopra and Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem at the event will be disappointed as the latter is not part of the Doha Diamond League roster. Nadeem has not taken part in any major event since winning the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
