Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated ace shuttler Saina Nehwal for winning the Australian Open Super Series event in Sydney.

New Delhi: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday congratulated ace shuttler Saina Nehwal for winning the Australian Open Super Series event in Sydney. Prime Minister Modi took to twitter to congratulate India’s No.1 badminton star.

Congratulations @NSaina for the stupendous victory. The entire nation is very proud of your sporting accomplishments.

Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar and also expressed pride at Saina’s victory. VVS Laxman who hails from Saina’s hometown Hyderabad also congratulated her on her win in Sydney.
