National Coach Wim Koevermans named his 20-man squad for the forthcoming SAFF Championship. The squad sees the return of Syed Rahim Nabi and Subrata Paul, who were both left out of the team which travelled to Tajikistan for the friendly which India lost 0-3. Defenders: Nirmal Chettri, Arnab Mondal, Gouramangi Singh, Raju Gaikwad, Sandesh Jhingan, Mohanraj Nalappan. Midfielders: Syed Rahim Nabi, Mehtab Hossain, Arata Izumi, Lenny Rodriguez, Alwyn George, Jewel Raja Shaikh, Francis Fernandes. Forwards: Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh, Dawson Fernandes, Jeje Lalpekhlua.
