It was a pretty mixed day for the Indian shuttlers on Day 2 of the Australia Superseries.

The day started off with eight shuttlers in the fray with only four of them making into the quarterfinals of the tournament. Indians had a dominating run in the singles with PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal notching up convincing victories. In the men's singles Sai Praneeth and Srikanth Kidambi set up a mouthwatering quarter-final clash with each other in a repeat of the Singapore Superseries final. The Indian doubles campaign came to a close today with Ashwini Ponnappa and Sikki Reddy losing out in a closely fought encounter. Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy were unlucky to finish on the losing side.

The singles quarterfinals matches will be happening tomorrow as we will be back to provide you live scores and update throughout the day.

Hope you enjoyed our coverage. Till then, take care!
