Kylian Mbappe on Tuesday had a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani amid reports that the star footballer is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain. Mbappe was part of a special dinner arrange by the French President for Qatari Emir, who is on a two-day state visit to France. Interesting, Mbappe plays for Qatari-owned PSG and his contract is set to end in June, seven years after joining them.
It has been reported that Mbappe has already informed PSG that he wants to leave the club and is negotiating with La Liga giants Real Madrid for a move that he wanted for long.
However, it was reported that no footballing matters regarding his potential move out of PSG was discussed during the Tuesday dinner.
As per a video going viral, Macron was heard sharing a few words with Mbappe in jest over his near future.
“You are going to create more problems for us”, Macron told Mbappe.
Renowned football journalist Fabrizio Romano said on X (formerly Twitter) that Mbappe is only negotiating with Real Madrid.

The news was also confirmed by La Liga president Javier Tebas who said that the 2018 World Cup winners is very close to signing for Madrid.
“Knowing that he is leaving PSG, there is a 99 percent chance that Mbappe will sign for Real. But I don’t know if he has already signed,” Tebas said.
The 25-year-old Mbappe joined PSG in 2017 from Monaco in a deal worth $190 million.
Over the years, he has gone on to establish himself as the best player in the club’s history and leads the goal-scoring chart for them with 244 goals from 292 matches.
