ISL pre-season friendlies: Goa stunned by East Bengal, Chennai City FC held to draw by Bengaluru

Multi-crore Indian Super League outfit FC Goa lost a pre-season friendly 1-2 to Kolkata giants East Bengal, who will be playing in the second tier of the national football league.

For Goa, Manvir Singh scored their only goal while East Bengal's scorers were Brandon and Charles. The match was played behind closed doors.

Chennai City Football Club drew 2-2 against Bengaluru FC in the pre-season friendly match played at Bellary.

Chennai City FC will play another friendly aginst BFC at Bengaluru FC Residential Academy, Vijayanagar, Bellary, tomorrow as they prepare for the upcoming I-League and ISL, slated to begin later this month.

The scorers for CFC were Gurpreet Singh and Veniamin Schumeiko while Sunil Chhetri and Daniel Lalhimpuia found the net for the Bengaluru side, according to information received in Chennai.

Goa will next play Mohun Bagan on 9 November.
