The organizer of a Mumbai rave that was busted by the police in Mumbai on Sunday, has been sent to judicial custody till 25 May. According to an NDTV report, Handa has been charged under the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. According to the report, invitations for the party were sent out via Facebook. The police claim that a message was posted on the site which said, “Support the party, not the drug”. About 100 people were arrested at Hotel Oakwoods in Juhu, where cocaine and other drugs were also found. According to police, “Around 58 boys and 38 girls were detained and taken to a hospital for blood and urine check-up after a rave party was busted in Juhu late Sunday.” [caption id=“attachment_316068” align=“alignleft” width=“380” caption=“Youth arrested by police taken back in a police van after being tested at a hospital in Mumbai. PTI”] [/caption] However, police refused to confirm whether the players were involved in consuming drugs at the party. This could only be clarified after the results of the medical examination, the official said. Police have seized around 110 grams of cocaine and over 100 grams of other restricted drugs from the party. The cricketers were released on personal bonds.  Other detainees will be released soon after the medical examination results arrive, police said. The raid, supervised by Additional Commissioner of Police Vishwas Nangre-Patil, was conducted at the Oakwood Premier hotel near Juhu beach. With inputs from IANS
