With 1686 runs at an average of 45.56 in 44 games, he is the leading run-getter for Punjab in the IPL. - David Miller (51 not out off 26 balls) has recorded his third half-century for Punjab in the IPL. They have won four consecutive matches at Chepauk between 22 April and 2 May, 2013. - Michael Hussey, with 485 runs at an average of 60.62 in ten matches, is the leading run-scorer in the IPL, overtaking Chris Gayle’s tally of 484 at an average of 80.66 in 10 matches. - Suresh Raina became the third batsman after Chris Gayle and Shane Watson to score a hundred in the present tournament. - Raina’s 100 not out off 53 balls is his maiden hundred in the IPL - his second in Twenty20. His previous best IPL innings was 98 against Rajasthan Royals at Centurion on April 30, 2009. - Raina became the second Chennai batsman and the third to post a century against Punjab at the IPL, joining Michael Hussey (116* at Mohali on 19 April, 2008) and Chris Gayle (107 at Bangalore on 6 May, 2011). - Besides Raina and Hussey, the only other Chennai player to record an IPL century is Murali Vijay (two) - 127 against Rajasthan Royals at Chepauk on 3 April, 2010 and 113 against Delhi Daredevils at Chepauk on 25 May 25. - The three leading Chennai run-getters in 2013 are - Hussey (485), Raina (359) and Dhoni (300). - Raina has recorded 107 sixes - the second highest in the IPL - the leading six-hitters are Gayle (165), Raina (107) and Rohit Sharma (105). - Raina, in the course of his hundred, has completed his 2600 runs in the IPL, becoming the first batsman to accomplish the feat - his tally being 2613 at an average of 34.84 in 92 games. - Raina has got his seventh IPL Man of the Match award. - Dwayne Bravo is the top IPL 6 wicket-taker - his tally being 19 at an average of 16.94 in eleven games.
