BCCI Image[/caption] All three players from the Rajasthan Royals were arrested in the alleged spot-fixing case by the Delhi Police last month and were recently charged under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act. The Delhi Police have claimed that there is evidence that ties the bookies involved in the case to Dawood Ibrahim’s D-Company. Cricketers S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and 17 others will walk out of jail on Tuesday after the MCOCA court granted them bail. It’s been seen as a major blow for the Delhi Police as the court said that there is no evidence to try them under the MCOCA law. The judge observed that there wasn’t enough evidence to make out a case under MCOCA. He also observed that the evidence on record would not hold up under the stringent MCOCA law and that no case of cheating or criminal conspiracy could be made out against the accused.
