I have never bet on any match ever, says furious Shilpa on Twitter

With allegations of betting against Rajasthan Royals owner Shilpa Shetty flying thick and fast, the actress lashed out on Twitter and denied all involvement.

Shetty who had already slammed the media hours earlier, took to her Twitter account to deny speculation that she had also been betting on matches involving the Rajasthan Royals.

Shetty also said that since the matter is sub-judice she will not be able to talk further about the matter.

Earlier in the day the Delhi police confirmed that her husband and co-owner of the team Raj Kundra had admitted to betting, but said that they did not have enough evidence to arrest him.

The Delhi police is investigating a match-fixing case and not illegal gambling, Delhi police commissioner Neeraj Kumar told CNN-IBN.

Earlier today Shilpa slammed the media saying that it was just cashing in on news in order to make headlines.

In one of her first tweets of the day Shetty says the press should be stopped altogether.
