CSK CEO Gurunath summoned before Mumbai crime branch tomorrow

The Mumbai police have issued a summons to the CEO of the Chennai Super Kings Gurunath Meiyappan to appear before the Mumbai crime branch between 11 am and 5pm on Friday. If he fails to appear, Gurunath, who is also the son-in-law of BCCI President N Srinivasan, will be declared a fugitive. The two had reportedly spoken more than 30 times in the last few days. News reports quoting police sources, said that police wanted to confront Gurunath with Vindoo and also wanted to scrutinise his phone records. Once the police arrived at Meiyappan’s home however they had waited ten minutes outside, before they were informed that he was not at his residence. The police then pasted a copy of the summons on his door. According to CNN-IBN sources, CSK management will meet with the police officials today. It is still unclear as to where he is, although reports said that his legal team was perusing the summons.
