In all, twenty four instances have been registered when a batsman has amassed 500 runs or more in an IPL season. - Uthappa’s aggregate of 572 (ave. 47.66) in thirteen matches is the highest in the IPL 2014. - Uthappa became the third batsman to record five fifties in the present tournament.
