IPL Governing Council to meet ahead of players' auction

Mumbai: The Governing Council of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is to meet in Mumbai on Friday ahead of the players' auction which is scheduled to be held on 6 February.

Among other things, the IPL GC is expected to discuss the budget for the upcoming IPL season commencing on 8 April, it was learnt.

The T20 League's governing panel is headed by Rajeev Shukla, with Jyotiraditya Scindia, Ajay Shirke, M P Pandove, Sourav Ganguly and all the office bearers of the BCCI, including secretary-convener, as its other members.
