IPL betting chargesheet: What nailed Gurunath Meiyappan

According to CNN-IBN, these are the details in the Mumbai police chargesheet which may nail Gurunath Meiyappan in the IPL betting case. The chargesheet doesn’t mention spot-fixing but following these charges it might be interesting to see how he gets out of this. The police have audio recordings and have noted the transcripts in the chargesheet which is 11,500 pages long. CSK lost the match. Gurunath, the police contend, was aware that his team would lose. 19 May: In a conversation between Gurunath and Vindoo at 19:26 hrs, Gurunath told Vindoo - ’ we are going to win hundred percent’. CSK won that match. 12 May: In a conversation between Guru and Vindoo, Guru tells Vindoo that his team will make runs anywhere between 130 and 140. That day CSK made 141 runs. The match was between CSK and RR. 13 May: At 14:45 hrs, Vindoo called Guru asking what was he doing? Guru replied that he was sitting in his boat and watching the match. Vindoo says, “why are you sitting in your boat, go sit with your team and pass on information to me, so that I can place bets.
