The best part is that with a minimum squad of 16 and maximum of 27, KXIP can strategically use the remaining Rs 14.2 crore. Rajasthan Royals need to buy another minimum five players (to attain squad of 16) and have a healthy purse of Rs 12.10 crore. KKR still needs to buy another six players to complete their minimum squad composition of 16 with only Rs 9 crore left in the purse. Delhi Daredevils, who have created a flutter by roping in Dinesh Karthik for a whopping Rs 12.5 cr have bought 13 players today and is left with Rs 8.6 crore. Mumbai Indians have Rs 5.15 crore left in order to buy another six players minimum having bought only five today. They had retained the full quota of five players.
