Kolkata: Former champions Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday faced an injury scare when their West Indies recruit Darren Bravo was hit by a rising delivery at the nets.

A new addition to the squad, the left-hander was hit on his right forearm by a short ball from Ankit Rajpoot and he was soon grimacing in pain.

KKR's star allrounder Yusuf Pathan on Monday joined the practice while skipper Gautam Gambhir is slated to join the practice on Tuesday.
