IPL 2014: Brilliant KXIP crush disappointing DD
Horrible show by Delhi, who finish with just 4 points from their 14 matches. KXIP, on the other hand, finished top of the table with 22 points from their 14 games.

TOSS: KXIP win toss, elect to bowl first
Squads:
KXIP XI: V Sehwag, M Vohra, G Maxwell, W Saha, D Miller, G Bailey, A Patel, M Johnson, R Dhawan, K Singh, P Awana
DD XI: M Agarwal, K Pietersen, D Karthik, JP Duminy, M Tiwary, J Neesham, K Jadhav, S Nadeem, M Shami, J Unadkat, I Tahir
DD: 115 all out
Delhi stayed true to form -- played bad cricket and showed just why they are at the bottom of the points table. Kevin Pietersen got going but he never got any support from his team-mates, who seemed happy to simply throw their wickets away. Pietersen 58 off 41 balls -- the next highest in the team was Karthik with 13 runs. They just didn't have the stomach for a fight. Karanveer Singh was once again very good -- finishing with figures of 4-0-22-2.
KXIP: 119-3
KXIP lost Virender Sehwag and Glenn Maxwell early but they didn't bat an eyelid. Manan Vohra and David Miller batted with such classy ease that Delhi never even had a sniff of a chance. Vohra got 47 off 48 and Miller got 47 off 34 -- the Delhi bowlers were simple never a factor. Horrible show by Delhi, who finish with just 4 points from their 14 matches. KXIP, on the other hand, finished top of the table with 22 points from their 14 games. Maxwell seems to be going through some downtime but they would love to have him back at his best for the qualifiers.
Turning point: Pietersen was the only one who got going and once KXIP got him, it was match over. He made 58 off 41 before he walked across his stumps and missed a straight one from Rishi Dhawan.
