Riding on the heavy buzz created by the media, Indian Grand Prix held at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida got the highest viewership ratings for any Formula One Race. A survey conducted by TAM (Television Audience Measurement) Sports across six metros claims that Indian Grand Prix (GP) held on October 30, 2011, garnered six times more average-TVR (Television Rating Points) than any other Grand Prix ever held. TVRs reflect the percentage of viewers watching a programme at a particular time.The analysis was based on the live telecast of the the qualifying race and the main race in Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Reuters”]  [/caption] Taking the average TVR of all the GPs completed till now as 100 points, Indian GP scored 715 points, nearly six times more than any other GP event ever. The most popular F1 race, Malaysian GP-2011, on the other hand scored only 171 points, the race was held on April 10, 2011.The Australian GP and the Singapore GP, scored an average of 154 and 85 points each respectively. The much hyped Indian GP was held on October 30, 2011 at the Buddh International Circuit in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
