India vs West Indies: Virat Kohli spends a 'blessed' afternoon with Sir Garfield Sobers
Virat Kohli, along with coach Anil Kumble, met veteran West Indian cricketing legends like Garfield Sobers, Everton Weekes and others
When incessant rains ensured a second straight day of Test cricket between India and West Indies was washed out on Saturday, India skipper Virat Kohli found some rather enriching ways of keeping himself busy. Kohli added some sunshine to his day by meeting West Indian legend Sir Garfield Sobers for a conversation. How happy he was by the chance meeting was evident when he took to social media to gush about the encounter.
Kohli, along with coach Anil Kumble, also met veteran batsman Sir Everton Weekes, one part of the renowned Three Ws of Caribbean cricket, as well as batsman Gordon Greenidge. "A great honour to meet the legends!" head coach Anil Kumble tweeted about the meeting.

Bumrah's has bowled 151 overs already in the past one month, including 22 intense overs on the fourth and fifth day of the Oval Test which India won by 157 runs.
The story of how India fans borrowed Bella the elephant from Chessington Zoo and brought her to the Oval mid-match — something the 1971 team saw as a lucky omen as it coincided with the festival of Ganesha, the elephant-headed Hindu god — has gone down in cricket history.
