Just two runs off it! 12th over: India 70/1 A successful over from Russell. Dhawan went after him off the second ball but missed his slash. he then had his wicket and broke the partnership. One run and a wicket off the over. Virat Kohli back at No. 3! OUT! Russell breaks the partnership! S Dhawan c DM Bravo b Russell 35 (35b 6x4 1x6) Short on off, it gets big on Dhawan who looks to pull but ends up top edging it to deep square leg where Darren bravo makes no mistake. Looks like it was a plan against Dhawan! 11th Over: India 69/0 The powerplay is over. Indians rotating the strike quite well. four singles off the over. Holder continues. 10th over: India 65/0 Rahane playing some beautiful shots! First ball is a tad wide, Rahane goes after it for a slash but misses. He then charges down the track the next ball and hammers it over mid off for a four. And then clips it past short fine leg for back-to-back boundaries. A couple of defenses and he then pulls the last ball over square leg to make it 12 from the over. 9th over: India 53/0 After being tonked for 15 runs in his last over, Holder bounces back and concedes just one run in his next. He maintained good lines. Change of ends for Holder. 8th over: India 52/0 Andre Russell replaces Holder. He keeps the ball up and concedes just a single. 7th over: India 51/0 Dhawan has decided everything must go and smashes Taylor for three straight boundaries. The carnage began when he walked out to Taylor and crashed him over the cover. The next ball he stood stock still and drove him through the covers. The last one was cut powerful on the up past point. Taylor doesn’t learn from Holder and decided to bounce Dhawan to end the over. The ball had to be fetched from the midwicket boundary and brings up the 50 for India. Looks like a pretty decent pitch for batting. 6th over: India 35/0 Holder doesn’t learn from his first over and bounces Dhawan, who cracks him over square leg for the first six of the innings. Holder says do that again and Dhawan gets up on one leg and pulls him away for four more. Rahane doesn’t want to be left out of the action and after a single to Dhawan, guides a full delivery to the point fence. 15 from the over and I reckon Holder is going to come off. 5th over: India 20/0 Two slips in place for Taylor, who stifles an lbw shout when the ball raps Rahane on the pads. Replays show a distinct inside edge on to pad. Taylor also has a man at deep point now and he keeps a Rahane down to a single. 4th over: India 18/0 Holder struggles with his line against the lefty-righty opening combination., Rahane artfully flicked a full delivery to deep midwicket for three runs. Six runs come from the over in all. 3rd over: India 12/0 Taylor works away on that outswinger. Rahane pushes forward gently with his arms and the ball races square of the wicket and away to the fence. When he played that shot, it looked liked a single at best, but the timing and placement were brilliant. He oozes lazy elegance, does Rahane. 2nd over: India 6/0 A nice juicy half-tracker first up from Jason Holder. Dhawan swivelled and despatched the ball to the square leg boundary. Holder cleans up his act after after that loosner and a confident shout for lbw against Dhawan was denied by Ian Gould on the suspicion that the ball was going over the stumps. 1st over: India 2/0 A quiet first over from Jerome Taylor. A single each to third man for Ajinkya Rahane and Shikar Dhawan. Taylor kept the ball full and on the stumps for the most part. 14.30 IST: The Dalai Lama is the chief guest of today’s match. The crowd gives him a huge ovation. 14.15 IST: Dwayne Bravo won the toss and chose to bowl first. MS Dhoni has pulled another surprise by picking Akshar Patel in place of Amit Mishra for the fourth ODI. Mishra bowled superbly in the last game after taking a hammering in the first. We can only assume Dhoni wants a look at Akshar but then why not drop Ravindra Jadeja, who is going to Australia no matter what. West Indies have also made a change. Jason Holder comes in for Ravi Rampaul. [caption id=“attachment_1761185” align=“alignleft” width=“380”] ![India hope Virat Kohli has found his form again. PTI](https://images.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Kohli-1st-ODI-PTI1.jpg) India hope Virat Kohli has found his form again. PTI[/caption] There was some concern the West Indies would boycott this match over the pay dispute with their board but the team has turned up to play while registering their protest, much like they did in the first game. India XI: S Dhawan, AM Rahane, V Kohli, AT Rayudu, SK Raina, MS Dhoni*†, RA Jadeja, AR Patel, B Kumar, Mohammed Shami, UT Yadav. West Indies XI: DR Smith, DM Bravo, MN Samuels, DJ Bravo*, D Ramdin†, KA Pollard, DJG Sammy, AD Russell, JO Holder, SJ Benn, JE Taylor. Preview Bolstered by their dramatic come-from-behind win in the last game, India will look to keep the winning momentum going when they meet West Indies in the fourth cricket one-dayer here today on what is expected to be a pacy track. The series is locked at 1-1 and the picturesque HPCA Stadium will provide the perfect setting as the two teams square off to seize the initiative before the final match of the series is played at Eden Gardens on October 20. India’s series-levelling victory at the Kotla was combination of West Indies’ self destruction while cruising towards an easy win and also inability to play on a track where there is some turn on offer.
