Poor Rafael Nadal. Even if he wins, he loses. Well, at least according to the ATP website.
Nadal faced Daniel Brands in the first round of the French Open this year, beating him 4-6 7-6 6-4 6-3, but the website says that the Spaniard lost against the German.
Maybe the ATP got too excited by watching Nadal flirt with the danger of going out against a player who had never won a main draw match at Roland Garros.
Nadal's record, after his 6-4, 6-1, 6-3 victory over No. 13 Kei Nishikori of Japan is 56-1 in the French Open, but the ATP website, which hasn't been updated for a while, shows a 52-2 record.
And this is Rafael Nadal we're talking about — the man who's on a brilliant comeback after a serious knee injury.
However, if we see it from Brands' point of view — he can enjoy his famous win over Nadal at least till the ATP website is updated.
We've cheekily taken a screenshot of the ATP website, as you can see below.
