How much should Real Madrid pay for Bale?

No. According to Tottenham Hotspur, their starman Gareth Bale is worth £125 million pounds — more than one-fourth the price of the whole club (valued at around £450 million). Sports Editor Ashish Magotra, Pulasta Dhar and journalist (and Spurs fan) Robert Ainley decided to hold a short conversation and come to a consensus of how much Bale was worth. His on-pitch value, marketing value and all things considered (he’s Welsh, so doesn’t have a taxing international career), varies from person to person and despite trying hard, we couldn’t settle on a price. However, there are lots of interesting tidbits in there, like us asking Rob who he would buy if he had £100 million in his pocket and if, as a Spurs fan, he would ever forgive the man if he left Spurs for Real Madrid.
