After failing to qualify for the Paris 2024 Olympics, the Indian women’s hockey team are now all set to take part in the FIH Pro League 2023-24. Apart from India, other giants like China, the USA, Australia, and the Netherlands will also feature in the tournament. The USA will be up against the Netherlands in the opener of the first-round matches on Saturday. India will kick off the tournament with a match against China later on 3 February. Participating nations will play in the Odisha leg of the FIH Pro League at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar. Later they will move to the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela. India will be the only side in the competition to have not qualified for the Paris Olympics. Date: The FIH Women’s Pro League 2023-24 will start today, February 3. The competition is scheduled to go on till February 18.
