An emotional PR Sreejesh on Thursday recreated his iconic celebration from the Tokyo Olympics after the Indian hockey team defeated Spain 2-1 to clinch the bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. In Tokyo, where India had won bronze, Sreejesh posed for an iconic picture as he sat on top of the goalpost, throwing his hands in the air.
After India defeated Spain on Thursday, Sreejesh showcased that celebration once again in Paris, with his teammates watching him on. Prior to the Paris Olympics, Sreejesh had announced that the Olympics would be his final outing for India, thus ending a remarkable 18-year career.
