Manchester United are reportedly not ready to sell their star quartet on the cheap after excluding them from first-team training before the start of the new season. Four players - Jadon Sancho, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and Tyrell Malacia - have been separated from the first team during the ongoing transfer window, which closes on September 1.

Man Utd want big fees for exiled players

United are looking for buyers for these players but so far the offers are not good enough. Manager Ruben Amorim has apparently promised that if the club does not get the price they want, he will not sell them and will bring them back into the first team. A club source also confirmed to Daily Express that the players will only be sold if they get the right price.

“Of course it’s not ideal to have senior players training away from the first-team group. But until offers are received that meet our valuations then the situation remains the same. Some clubs might feel that we will be happy to do business at any price but that isn’t the case,” the source was quoted as saying.

“The manager has said he will look to reintroduce any or all of them back to the squad if they are still United players when the window closes. Situations like these tend to be resolved late in the day. It’s not ideal to have senior players away from the main squad, but we will not sell at any price,” the source added.

As per the report, the four players are costing United nearly £500,000 (over Rs 5 crore) a week in wages. Sancho is earning £250,000 (nearly Rs 3 crore) a week and has interest from Roma. Antony is wanted by Real Betis, but they cannot pay the £30 million fee (over Rs 350 crore) or his £130,000 a week salary.

Meanwhile, Garnacho is reportedly wanted by Chelsea, but United want £50 million (over Rs 585 crore), which the London club thinks is too high. Malacia is said to be on the radar of clubs in Holland, Italy, and Germany.
