Al-Hilal manager Simone Inzaghi has reportedly refused Manchester United’s offer to replace Ruben Amorim at the Old Trafford. Inzaghi, who led Inter Milan to two Champions League finals as head coach, has expressed his wish to stay with the Saudi Arabian giants as he aims to collect silverware in the gulf kingdom.

As per a report in Italy’s TuttoSport, Inzaghi was approached by United but the Italian has said “no thanks” to the offer without delving deep into the matter. Currently, he is coaching Al-Hilal who leapfrogged Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr on Sunday to take the top spot in the Saudi Pro League. Al-Hilal have not lost a game yet in the league with 10 wins and two draws to their name.

Ruud Van Nistelrooy, the interim manager before Amorim took over, is also in discussions.
