The Kalinga Super Cup 2024 is scheduled to take place in Bhubaneswar from January 9, 2024 and will be live-streamed exclusively on JioCinema. Sixteen teams will compete for the coveted title and a qualification berth for the 2024/25 AFC Champions League 2. Twelve Indian Super League teams and four I-League teams will make up the playing field. The fourth I-League participant will be confirmed via a play-off between Inter Kashi and Rajasthan United FC on January 8, 2024. The inaugural match on January 9 will be played between East Bengal FC and Hyderabad FC. Mohun Bagan Super Giant and East Bengal FC will face each other on January 19 for the third Kolkata derby of the season. The teams have been drawn into four groups of four teams each and the top team from each group will progress to the semifinals. Odisha FC are the defending champions, having beaten Bengaluru FC in last year’s final.
