Ben Chilwell (Chelsea)

Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell is just 28 years old and should have been at the peak of his career with Chelsea. However, Chilwell has fallen out of favour under Blues coach Enzo Maresca and has not played since October 2024. Chilwell had joined Chelsea from Leicester City in 2020 for £45m, but now finds himself on the verge of a possible exit. Manchester United and Juventus are among the top teams linked with the England international.

Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad)

Martin Zubimendi was linked with Liverpool in the 2024 summer transfer window, only for the Spanish international to reject that opportunity. However, he now seems to be close to exiting Real Sociedad with Real Madrid and Manchester City reportedly linked with Zubimendi. According to The Athletic, Zubimendi has a £51.7m release clause.

Matheus Cunha (Wolves)

Brazil’s Matheus Cunha is another player who is reportedly interested by multiple clubs. Reuters

Matheus Cunha has had an excellent start to the Premier League season with Wolverhampton Wanderers, scoring 10 goals and assisting four in 20 matches. Cunha has been linked with Liverpool, Arenal, Manchester City and Manchester United, but it will be interesting to see if he stays with Wolves after all, with the club battling for top-flight survival.

Alexander Isak (Newcastle United)

The Sweden forward has been heavily linked with Arsenal, who are in need for a striker. Isak has scored 12 goals and assisted four times in 17 matches for Newcastle United this season. According to The Telegraph, the Magpies have set Isak’s price tag in excess of £150m, which means it will cost Arsenal a fortune to get his services.

Christopher Nkunku (Chelsea)

Christopher Nkunku could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge in January. While the France international has been in fine form in the UEFA Coference League, scoring five goals in six matches, the same cannot be said of his stint in the Premier League. While Maresca wants Nkunku to stay, Chelsea could still let go of him if they get a good offer. According to a report on Caught Offside, Barcelona are interested in a loan move for Nkunku should they fail to register Dani Olmo.
