The draw for the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup 2025 was completed on Thursday in Miami. The first match of the tournament will be played on 15 June next year between Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami and Egyptian club Al Ahly. Overall, the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will take place from 15 June to 13 July 2025 and include the biggest football clubs from all the continents.
The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 will be a revamped version of the previous Club World Cup which took place annually and only included seven teams from around the world.

FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Schedule
While the groups are already decided for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, the full scheduled is yet to be released. We know that the first match will be played between Inter Miami and Al Ahly at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on 15 June 2025 and the final will take place on 13 July 2025 at MetLife Stadium in New York New Jersey.

FIFA Club World Cup Format
The FIFA Club World Cup format is exactly as the one followed in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The 32 teams are divided into eight groups of four teams. The top two teams will qualify for the Round of 16.
From the last 16, each round will be a knockout out affair with the winners progressing to quarter-final, semi-final, and then final. No play-off match will be played between the losing semi-finalists.
