The 17th edition of the UEFA European Football Championship, aka The Euro, kicks off on Friday, 14 June with hosts Germany taking on Scotland in the opening fixture in Munich.

The 2020 edition — which ended up getting delayed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic — took place in multiple nations with the semi-finals and the final taking place at the Wembley Stadium in London, UK. Italy defeated England in the final with a 3-2 win in the penalty shootout after both teams finished level with one goal each at the end of extra time.
