Match-fixing allegations jolted the Delhi Football League after a video of absurd own-goals being scored during a game went viral on social media. The bizarre incident occurred during a Delhi Football League game between Ahbab FC and Rangers FC at the Ambedkar Stadium on Monday. Ahbab FC, who were leading by four goals to nil, conceded two strange own goals during the late phase of the game.
In the first instance, Ahbab FC players were seen passing the ball in their own half. Despite Rangers FC players not applying much pressure on their opponent, the move ended with one Ahbab FC footballer putting the ball into his own net for an own-goal.
The drama did not stop there as a few minutes later, one of the Ahbab players sent the ball into his own net right before the referee blew the full-time whistle.
