Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho remains confident of donning Chelsea’s blue kit in the near future despite a difference of opinion between the two Premier League clubs over the Argentine’s valuation. United, who have undergone a complete overhaul of their attack during the summer transfer window, expect a fee of £50million ($67.49 million), citing Noni Madueke’s £52 million move to Arsenal from Chelsea as a yardstick.

The Blues, however, aren’t willing to shell out more than £30 million ($40.49 million), indicating at the possibility of negotiations between the English football giants stretching close to the 1 September deadline for the current transfer window.

Garnacho, however, isn’t too bothered with the protracted talks between the two clubs over his transfer. According to talkSPORT, the 2022 FIFA World Cup winner, who currently has been relegated to the sidelines along with Antony, Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia, has already informed those close to him that he will be joining Chelsea soon.

The report adds that Chelsea have reached out to the 21-year-old and have asked him to bide his time till they reach an agreement with United, the club that are desperately seeking a revival of their fortunes after finishing an abysmal 15th last season.

The Argentine winger is believed to have reached an agreement with Enzo Maresca’s side on personal terms, meaning it shouldn’t take long for him to make his debut for the Blues once the transfer from Old Trafford is successfully completed.

Garnacho has expressed his willingness to play under Maresca to the point where he is even willing to remain sidelined until the next transfer window – which opens in January. He has reportedly rejected advances from other European heavyweights such as Napoli, Bayern Munich, Bayer Leverkusen and even from Saudi Arabia.

Chelsea have made significant investments to upgrade their attack, signing Jamie Gittens for £55 million from Borussia Dortmund with Joao Pedro, Liam Delap and Estevao having also joined the side.

That, however, pales compared to what United have spent for an overhaul of their attack, splurging more than £200 million on the trio of Benjamin Sesko , Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha.
