After England’s 1-2 loss to Uruguay, the equation in the Group of Death completely changes — the loss puts England at the bottom of the table but all the other teams have won a game each and Costa Rica and Uruguay are yet to face probably the best side of the group — Italy. But while mathematically England can still do it, history is against them. England are hoping that Italy win all their group games and the last time Italy won all their group games was in 1990.
