Brazil’s young starlet Lucas Moura has been linked with Manchester United since quite some time, but the rumour has finally been confirmed as reality with Alex Ferguson confirming that the club is interested in signing him. Ferguson was quoted in a BBC report as saying: “We haven’t reached an agreement for the player. Lucas is expected to be involved heavily in the London Olympics. Ferguson has also admitted that he is on the hunt for new players, while affirming that keeping his defenders fit is primary also. In other transfer activity, Everton’s Tim Cahill will be sold to Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls.
